Mission Statement


We are dedicated to enhancing our communities and participants through the development, installation and maintenance of sustainable community gardens and greening projects. By coordinating educational components and civic involvement, we strive to have gardens become places of community building and participant empowerment.
   
1. Help households provide their own food and become more self-reliant.

2. Foster greater social acceptance for the diversity within our society.

3. Create educational experiences for both youth and s by partnering with schools and other institutions.

4. Provide job training and work related experiences for youth and s within the green industry and aid in placing them in employment opportunities within the industry.

5. Create positive experiences for at-risk youth and s that will teach them the benefits of community service.

. Give opportunities for special needs youth and s to expand their talents while developing new ones.

. Beautify neighborhoods and communities.

8. Create and strengthen safer neighborhoods by promoting a sense of ownership in a community.

9. Encourage good eating habits through proper use of fruits and vegetables.
